James assists families in crafting comprehensive estate plans to help achieve their financial and personal objectives, including asset protection and the strategic minimization of estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes. He forges personalized relationships, ensuring that clients understand their options for making an informed decision. Prior to joining Mercer Advisors, James honed his expertise at a private law firm. He earned a JD degree from Ave Maria School of Law, a BS in finance, and an MBA from Florida Gulf Coast University. While at FGCU, James played on the hockey team, was a member of the varsity cross-country team, and the triathlon club. While he remains active in sports, especially through coaching hockey, his main dedication remains focused on his family.
