Meet George

George is a Sr. Wealth Advisor based in Owings Mills, Maryland. He joined Mercer Advisors in 2025 through the acquisition of Glass Jacobson Wealth Advisors where he served four years. Before that, George held roles at Wick Capital Partners and Legg Mason. He also served at Vanguard for 17 years, most recently as a Sr. Investment Consultant for institutional advisory services. For nearly 30 years, George has been motivated to make a real impact in people’s financial lives.

George is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and Chartered Financial Analyst®. He earned a B.A. degree in economics from Yale University.

What keeps you busy outside of work?

I enjoy spending time with my wife and children. In between kids’ sporting events, my wife and I like to travel and spend time outdoors.

Favorite thing about where you live?

My favorite thing about the Baltimore/D.C. area is the underrated food scene — particularly the Maryland blue crabs and crab cakes. Baltimore brings authentic local flavor, and D.C. has an elite dining scene.
