Daniel is the President of Mercer Advisors and one of 450+ employee-owners of the firm. He is accountable for delivering a family office to every Mercer Advisors client and expanding our impact by welcoming new families to our community. Daniel directly oversees Mercer Advisors’ advisory offerings, wealth and investment solutions, technology and operational delivery, and the marketing and client development teams. Along with Dave Welling, CEO, he is responsible for creating the context where top fiduciary advisors can do the best work of their careers as a unified and integrated team.

Prior to joining Mercer Advisors, Daniel held leadership roles at BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, and McKinsey & Company. He is passionate about using his background to help families amplify financial outcomes by accessing institutional-grade strategies. At BlackRock, Daniel was responsible for expanding the Aladdin® Platform – a leading institutional investment management system. At Goldman Sachs, he was a member of the Wealth Management Division management team and was responsible for making Goldman’s capabilities available to a broad spectrum of families. Daniel began his career at McKinsey & Company where he was a Partner in the New York Office, co-led the Americas wealth management practice, and led the firm’s global client technology business across all sectors and geographies. He served leading financial firms across North and South America, Europe, and Asia – and also served as the leader of the Firm’s Business Analyst program across North America.

Daniel lives in New York City with his wife Ali – a best-selling author of cookbooks and novels, and by far the most caring, creative, and competent person he knows. Together they are raising three children and taking care of Lily the dog. Daniel, Ali, and their extended family members across the country work directly with several advisors at Mercer Advisors.
