Meet Byron
Byron is a Sr. Wealth Advisor based in Eagle, Idaho. He joined Mercer Advisors through the 2025 acquisition of his company, West Oak Capital, a firm that he and his wife Lisa launched in 2003 and grew to more than $500 million in assets under management. For 22 years, Byron served as President, Chief Investment Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer for the firm. Byron earned his MBA in finance and operations management from Harvard Business School and his B.A. degree in economics from the University of California at Los Angeles. He is a Certified Financial Analyst®.

What keeps you busy outside of work?
I was a prior board member of the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA). I served from 2020 to 2023 as Assistant Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee, and a member of the Executive Committee and Membership Committee.
What keeps you busy outside of work?
Whenever there is some free time, I enjoy taking my Harley Davidson for soothing rides in our local mountains or riding dual-sport bikes along the many beautiful trails in Idaho.

My wife Lisa and I are proud parents of two grown children, our son Jack and daughter Lauren.
