Brent Singleton

Brent has been helping families achieve financial independence since 2004. He spent 18 years at HYA Advisors until the firm joined Mercer Advisors in 2022. Prior to working as a wealth advisor, Brent served as an officer and hospital administrator in the US Air Force, as well as the director of operations for Precision Stainless/ITT Industries.

Brent is dedicated to collaborating with families to solve complex financial challenges and help them reduce stress and anxiety associated with wealth management. He was inspired by a remarkable mentor early in his career who emphasized the importance of putting clients and their families’ interests first.

Brent received a Bachelor of Science from the United States Air Force Academy and an MBA from Drury University. He credits his career in the Air Force with instilling a mindset and culture of service in his life that continues to be his focus in his current career.

A Springfield native, Brent and his wife are proud parents of three children. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching youth sports for his children’s teams. Brent has served in many volunteer leadership positions for the Springfield Branson National Airport, Discovery Center, Sporting Springfield Soccer Club, Cox College, Springfield Catholic Schools, Hickory Hills Country Club, and Cox Health Plans. He is also a deacon and elder with First & Calvary Presbyterian Church.
