Amber Murphy

Amber has spent much of her career focusing on complex investment solutions for registered independent advisors (RIAs) and their clients. She has extensive knowledge in alternative investment financial technology space and has demonstrated industry leadership and passion in democratizing complex products for her advisors.

Before joining Mercer Advisors in 2025, Amber held roles at Charles Schwab and Goldman Sachs managing the structured products and alternative platforms for large RIA clients, and client service. She brings more than 15 years of investment experience.

Amber holds dual bachelor’s degrees in business administration (finance and real estate concentration) and biological sciences (human anatomy and neurobiology concentration) from Colorado State University. She has completed CAIA and CFA Foundations Certificates and is currently pursuing the CAIA charter.

A passionate advocate for financial education and advisor enablement, Amber is also active in her community, recognized as a top fundraiser and team captain for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

She is a self-proclaimed gym rat and will snowboard at any opportunity. Amber lives in Highlands Ranch, Colorado with her husband and two daughters, and a bulldog named Butter.
