Question

Are contributions to a Trump Account tax-deductible?

Answer

Individual contributions to a Trump Account are not tax-deductible. However, employer contributions of up to $2,500 per year may be excluded from the employee’s taxable income. Additionally, contributions may qualify for the annual gift tax exclusion under the IRS safe harbor rules established in Revenue Procedure 2026-25.
