Will is senior director of investment strategy for Mercer Advisors and leads the investment strategist team. His team provides thought leadership, portfolio construction, and analytical support to advisors, delivering institutional-grade portfolios to Mercer Advisors clients.
Will brought to Mercer Advisors more than two decades of experience in finance. He was an executive director at Morgan Stanley Asset Management, where he led relationship management for the firm’s largest RIA clients as an investment strategy subject matter specialist across credit, equity, and alternative strategies. At Charles Schwab he led the Fixed Income organization as managing director, and before that worked as a high-yield credit and distressed securities analyst for long-only and hedge fund products for both Nuveen and U.S. Trust Company.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from Rollins College in mathematics and philosophy, and an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business concentrating in finance. Will is a Certified Financial Analyst® (CFA®) charter holder. He is also an adjunct professor of finance and business ethics at Fordham University.
Will grew up in New York City, and the city’s gravity, energy, and grit pulled him back from stints in Denver and San Francisco. For recreation, he enjoys time with his family and is talented at basketball and golf, and has increased his time commitment to both through the growing necessity of stretching and icing.
