Melanie Fitzgerald

Melanie began her career in the financial services industry more than 25 years ago, with a focus on supporting women in transition. She started in a private family office and later spent over 15 years at a national wealth management firm, where she served clients from all walks of life, especially those navigating significant life changes.

In 2022, Melanie joined Mercer Advisors along with the team from Resource Planning Group.
Melanie finds it especially rewarding to work with women and address the unique financial challenges of the aging population. She is passionate about helping clients gain clarity and confidence through thoughtful, personalized planning.

A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional since 2006, Melanie earned a BBA in finance from Georgia State University. She also served as executive director of Women Renewed, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting women in transition, where she helped more than 200 women regain financial stability and independence.

Outside of work, Melanie enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, and training her German Shepherd, Ana.
