Meet Jack
Jack has been a Wealth Advisor at Mercer Advisors since 2022. Prior, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Vintage Financial Services, which was acquired by Mercer Advisors. He ran his prior firm’s day-to-day operations and implemented strategic investments. He also managed many of the firm’s top client relationships as a Sr. Wealth Advisor. Jack thrives at helping clients navigate financial decisions and achieve life goals like buying homes, funding education, or retiring comfortably. Jack graduated magna cum laude from Western Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in personal financial planning. He holds a master’s degree in personal financial planning from the College for Financial Planning.

Jack is known for his empathy and deep listening. He takes the time to actively listen to a client’s values, concerns, and goals. This helps build trust and creates a deep understanding of their financial life beyond just the numbers. Jack aims to form a lasting partnership and to get to know personal details like family dynamics, hobbies, and the “why” behind financial goals to craft a truly personalized strategy. Instead of using financial jargon, he explains complex concepts in clear, easy-to-understand language. The goal is to make sure clients understand their financial plan and feel confident in their decisions. Jack is readily available to answer questions and proactively reaches out with relevant information or updates, reinforcing his role as an advocate for the client.

What keeps you busy outside of work?
My family. My wife and I live in Ann Arbor and have two children, Hazel and Conrad, and a goldendoodle named Clark.

At Mercer Advisors I’m able to truly help clients accomplish their goals each day in a supportive environment guided by the principal of always putting clients first.
Favorite thing about where you live?
We love living in Ann Arbor. We enjoy Summer Festival, the Ann Arbor Art Fair, and always have fun attending various Michigan athletic events. With family living on the west side of Michigan, we enjoy spending weekends in the summer at the beach.
