Meet Darin
Darin is a Sr. Client Service Specialist based in Westlake Village, California. He joined Mercer Advisors in 2025 through the acquisition of West Oak Capital, LLC, where he served as Director of Operations for 10 ½ years. Prior, he spent 20 years in human resources positions. Darin has a B.A. degree in sociology and minor in psychology from California State University, Chico.

What makes you tick?
I was raised by hard-working parents who taught me that hard work and strong commitments will pay off. They also taught that things will not come easy, and to cherish family and friends. This has served me well throughout my life and work relationships.
What keeps you busy outside of work?
I love to spend time with my wife hiking, kayaking, and participating in other outdoor activities. My family is top priority and I love every minute with them, our miniature dachshund, and especially our granddaughter. And of course I enjoy watching and attending Los Angeles Dodgers games.
