Meet Aleksandr
Aleksandr is a Financial Planner based in Hunt Valley, Maryland. He joined Mercer Advisors in 2025 through the acquisition of Tufton Capital Management where he served as an Equity Research Analyst for nearly four years. He earned a B.S. degree in finance from Towson University.

What keeps you busy outside of work?
Outside of work, I spend a lot of quality time with my wife and son. I’m an active member of Kingsville Baptist Church, where community and faith play a big role in my life. I also stay active by playing in a local soccer league and enjoy reading about companies and stocks.
How do you give back?
Giving back is truly rewarding to me. I serve on the Foundation Board and Investment Committee at Towson University, as well as the Investment Committee at the Maryland Center for History and Culture. Additionally, I’m the Sunday School Director at Kingsville Baptist Church and mentor many students, finding great fulfillment in helping shape the next generation into strong leaders and compassionate individuals.
What’s one thing you are surprisingly good at?
I’m good at table tennis.
